Tokyo House - Westminster: Authentic Japanese Cuisine in a Cozy Setting

I reviewed a place after I went there at least 3 times. All the past 3 times I went here, I had an amazing service, great food, and affordable pricing. Total recommended to try them out!

This place is a hidden gem!! The interior is much nicer than the exterior suggests, the food is delicious and well priced, and the service is lightning fast. A great lunch spot or dinner spot if you're looking for somewhere with Japanese beer. It's also an amazing place for plant based options. So many vegan and vegetarian items on the menu! I got a ton of vegan maki rolls, but they also have vegetarian ramen that could be vegan if you ask them to leave out the egg. I'm totally getting that next time!

After a long day of substitute teaching, I stopped into Tokyo House in Westminster for a quiet early dinner—and it was exactly what I needed. I ordered a tempura shrimp roll, a spicy tuna roll, and a shrimp ramen noodle bowl. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The ramen broth was rich and comforting, and the sushi rolls had great texture and balance—definitely some of the best I’ve had in the area. The restaurant had a calm and welcoming vibe, and the service was prompt and polite without being rushed. It was the perfect solo meal to relax, recharge, and enjoy a little peace after a busy day. Thank you, Tokyo House, for such a satisfying experience. I’ll absolutely be back!

Tokyo House is my our favorite restaurant! My husband and I have been coming here for almost a year, and the owner always remembers us. The food is amazing, the prices are affordable, and the service is fast and friendly. We even drive 30 minutes from home just to eat here! We bring all our family and friends here, and everyone loves it. After trying almost everything on the menu, the tofu bento box is my favorite! There is something on the menu for everyone, with vegan friendly options and a kids menu.

I wasn't blown away by any part of this experience, but it wasn't really bad either. I'd say middle of the road maybe? The other members of our party really enjoyed their bento of chicken teriyaki. I had tokatsu ramen. The broth was great but the meat was too fatty for me. That is actually traditional Asian way to have it? Maybe? We had appetizers plus the dinner. It was good but nothing to get really excited about.

Our visit was not stellar. They only had one waitress. We waited 45 min for sushi. Had to ask the manager where it was. Sushi was ok but not the best. The tempura was really weak. 2 small shrimp that was a 2 dollar add on. Dumplings were soggy.

I was traveling from New York. my friend recommended it to me. oh ，that’s a amazing,The food was very fresh and the taste was great. Especially the service is very nice. I will come again next time.

This place has a wonderful vibe and delicious sushi. Service is great too!! I love the funny signs everywhere to lighten the mood (including a sign telling you where the washroom is that says “thinking room”). Will return! I had: Mango Tango roll Sashimi appetizer (didn’t see on the menu for lunch at least but they made me one) Bowl of Miso Soup Vegetable tempura House Hot Sake YUMmmmmmm
